Children's Theatre is
a week-long theater arts residency in which 55 to 65 area children
learn to act, dance, sing, and present two professional-quality
performances of an original musical. MCT occurs annually in October.
Auditions are open to young people who are privately, publicly,
or home schooled.
The 2009 production was
"The Amazing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe"
The production this year was very well received and was a wonderful experience for everyone involved! A special thank you to all the young actors who were in the show (you were awesome), the families that support them, and to these community MCT sponsors:
Pend Oreille Players Association, Stimson Lumber, Spokane Teacher's Credit Union, Newport/Oldtown Rotary Club, Doug Lambarth-Attorney,
Pend Oreille Valley Foundation, Tigger's Treehouse Childcare, and Newport Eagles Auxiliary.
Please stay tuned for next year's production information!
